La sortie de Xenogears
s'est comme tous les jeux Square accompagné de la sortie
dans les bacs de la bande-son du jeu. Et qui dit RPG fabuleux dit
forcément musique fabuleuse, pour notre plus grand plaisir,
d'autant plus que la composition de cette bande son a été
confiée à Yasunori Mitsuda, qui s'était déjà
chargé de Chrono Trigger et sera également le compositeur
de l'OST (Original Sound Track si vous aimez les précisions)
de Chrono Cross, 2 ans plus tard. Deux albums sont sortis avec Xenogears
: L'OST qui est divisé en 2 CD et qui rassemble les 44 morceaux
originaux que l'on peut entendre dans le jeu, et le Creid, qui est
un réarangement (avec notament l'introduction de chants et
de sons celtiques et parfois de rock ! c'est trés surprenant.
A noter que les chants sont exclusivement en japonais). Les 2 sont
fabuleux, mais personnellement et contrairement à beaucoup
de monde, je préfère l'OST car elle rappelle mieux
le jeu et son ambiance... Enfin, à vous de voir lequel vous
préférez : (j'ai rajouté les lyrics de "Star
of tears" et "Small 2 of peace") à la fin
de la page).
* Bien que tous les morceaux soient tous géniaux,
sans exception, j'ai rajouté un * pour ceux qui valent particulièrement
le coup d'être écoutés.
Pout télécharger
les morceaux, clic droit puis "enregistrer la cible sous".
